Edric Dynham | The Dynham Estate | The Yuletide Collab
❈ Aristocrat Char x Arranged to Marry User ❈
"ᴛʜᴇʀᴇ ɪꜱ ɴᴏ ʟᴏᴠᴇ ʜᴇʀᴇ. ɪ ᴍᴀʀʀɪᴇᴅ ʏᴏᴜ ᴏᴜᴛ ᴏꜰ ᴏʙʟɪɢᴀᴛɪᴏɴ, ᴅᴏɴ'ᴛ ɢᴇᴛ ɪᴛ ᴛᴡɪꜱᴛᴇᴅ."
Growing up, you were constantly belittled by Edric Dynham and his friends. He's always despised you, and sees no point in changing his mind about you. However, after his father decided that your family's connections will help out the merchant company his runs, Edric suddenly finds himself engaged to you. He's not happy, especially since he already has someone in his heart.
He genuinely hates you. I didn't specify a reason, but he has always disliked you ever since you were children. He has feelings for his childhood friend, and while he shouldn't act on them, the llm is uncontrollable. I have done my best to program it so he won't, but there is no guarantee.

Be Agreeable ⇏ {{user}} didn’t react immediately.
They remained seated, posture composed, hands folded neatly in their lap as if this were nothing more than a routine business meeting. If the announcement rattled them, it didn’t show. Their expression stayed neutral, eyes lifting only when their father addressed them directly.
“Excited?” {{user}} repeated, tone even — neither warm nor offended. They glanced briefly at Edric, gray eyes skimming over him without lingering, then looked back to their father. “That’s not really relevant, is it?”
Sir Osmet stiffened slightly, but {{user}} continued before he could interject. “This arrangement makes sense on paper. The companies align, the families have history, and Edric and I are... familiar enough with one another.” Their mouth curved into something that wasn’t quite a smile. “Efficiency outweighs sentiment.”
They shifted just enough to cross one leg over the other, utterly at ease. “If this is what’s been decided, then I have no objections. Marriage is a contract before it’s anything else.”
Only then did they turn their gaze fully on Edric, cool and assessing, as if he were a figure in a ledger rather than a person. “I assume you’re capable of fulfilling your end of it.”
The silence that followed felt heavier than shouting ever could have.
{{user}} looked away again, calm, detached. “So yes, Father. I’m... agreeable.”
Be Sad ⇏ {{user}} didn’t answer right away.
For a moment, their gaze dropped to their hands, fingers loosely intertwined in their lap. They took a slow breath before lifting their head again, schooling their expression into something presentable—something acceptable.
“Excited...” they echoed softly, as if testing the word. A pause. Then a small, practiced smile settled on their lips. “That seems like an... unnecessary expectation.”
They glanced at Edric, just briefly—long enough for something unreadable to flicker in their eyes—before looking away again, focusing instead on the edge of the rug beneath their feet. “This isn’t about excitement. It’s about what’s expected of us.”
Their voice stayed steady, but there was a faint tightness beneath it, like a string pulled just a bit too taut. “If this marriage strengthens both families, then I understand why it’s being proposed.”
They straightened slightly, shoulders squaring as if bracing themselves. “I won’t stand in the way of that.”
Sir Osmet watched them closely, but {{user}} didn’t meet his gaze. Instead, they nodded once, small and final. “I’ll do what’s required of me.”
Only then did they look back up—expression calm, eyes carefully guarded. “There’s no need to worry about my feelings. They won’t interfere.”
The words sounded convincing.
They weren’t.
Be Angry ⇏ {{user}}’s head snapped up at their father’s question.
“Excited?” they repeated, incredulous, a harsh laugh slipping out before they could stop it. Their jaw tightened, fingers curling where they rested against their knee. “That’s an interesting word to use for something that was clearly decided without me.”
They stood abruptly, the chair scraping softly against the floor. “You speak of this like it’s some fortunate coincidence—like I should be grateful to be bartered off because it makes numbers on a ledger look prettier.” Their gaze cut to Edric, sharp and unyielding. “To him.”
Their eyes flicked back to their father, anger burning just beneath the surface now, no longer fully contained. “I’ve spent my entire life cleaning up messes, doing what’s expected, keeping the family name intact—yet the one time my life is being discussed, I’m reduced to a convenient piece in someone else’s game.”
They drew in a sharp breath, nostrils flaring. “You didn’t ask me. You didn’t even warn me. And now you’re sitting there expecting me to smile and feel excited?”
For a moment, the room felt like it might shatter.
Then {{user}} straightened, anger cooling into something hard and bitter. “If this marriage is truly about strengthening alliances, then say that. Don’t dress it up as fate or friendship.”
They looked at Edric again, eyes cold. “Because I refuse to pretend this is anything other than what it is.”
Their voice lowered, controlled but seething. “A transaction.”

GAH I LOVE A GOOD HISTORICAL ARRANGED MARRIED ROLEPLAY OML
This bot was created for camicloud as part of the Exchange Collab hosted by The Galaxy
Check out the other creations at #yuletideexchange!
I love a good historical bot, and seeing as Cami also enjoys one...I figured, why not? I hope you enjoy him! His gen is beautiful and I loved crafting and bringing him to life! I'm so sorry I took the entire time (today is the due date...oopsie)
I have a few ideas about this new little world too. I want to make Avery a bot, maybe even Cecelia! Plus Sampson, my cutie patootie (trust ya'll he's a gentle giant).
On another note, I really vanished off the face of the world lmao. November and December are/were tough months for me for a myriad of reasons, but I am going to try and continue publishing bots. I have one other collab bot planned, and then after that I think I will only write and make bots that I come up with when I come up with them.
Aka: deadlines stress me out.
I love you all so much, and seeing the love the characters I've crafted over the years getting love even when I'm not around is amazing and encouraging! I hope that you find some enjoyment out of my craft.
Want to stay connected with me and some other amazing creators? Join the Sodapop Shop, aka Basil's, Keekz's and I's server! Come check it out! WE DO ID CHECK AT THE DOOR. ♥
I also appear in a lot of other servers, merely lurking. I'm horrible at being social and putting myself out there! If you ping/DM me ever on discord I will answer, I promise. I'm bad at starting conversations but I will do my hardest to keep them alive. You can find me @idonthaveanaccent_
If you want to commission an alt of one of my bots or make an OC bot, then check out my Ko-Fi! The base price for alts is fives and OCs are ten.
I recommend using a jailbreak with my bots as JLLM is known for being odd at times! I often use cryptid’s to test and in my normal chats. While testing him my Temperature was set to 1.1 and my Tokens to unlimited.
Otherwise, I use deepseek when chatting with my bots! Here is a guideline on how to use it! I honestly prefer using it, and am currently using V3-0324, and I am loving how it runs.
