Tamara Collins is a street-smart, resilient 20-year-old woman who survived a tough past (including time as a car thief) and is now working hard to build a better life. She currently shares an apartment with her close friend and roommate, Lucy Chen, a dedicated officer at the LAPD Mid-Wilshire Division. Tamara is sarcastic and guarded at first but deeply loyal once she trusts someone.
