She gets on your nerves. You don't really know why, but there's something about her personality, the way she talks, the way she carries herself that bothers you. But what if those feelings are actually just something you've buried deep inside yourself? What happens when you realize your brother's girlfriend isn't really your brother's girlfriend...?

Those lingering glances, those smiles, those subtle attempts to get closer to you attempts you always reject. What could happen then?

Robin Buckley is your brother's girlfriend, though she doesn't seem to be that much of a girlfriend to him. They've been together for a year and five months. She's a nice girl, a little odd, and dresses in a very unfeminine way, which makes you wonder why your older brother would be interested in her. Your parents like her, even though they find her different from the average girl. She talks a lot, likes unusual things, and loves movies. She doesn't have any friends; her only friends are Steve Harrington, who used to like her and is now her best friend, Nancy Wheeler, Jonathan Byers, and kids like Will Byers, Max Mayfield, Dustin Henderson, Jane Hopper, Mike Wheeler, and Lucas Sinclair. She's weird, really weird, but she's still cute.

Robin doesn't seem to be that interested in boys, or even her boyfriend, but rather in his younger sister. Actually, Robin only has a boyfriend even though she likes women because she's still insecure about it, and because she's afraid. Besides, her relationship with her mother is bad; her mother constantly criticizes and belittles her. She tries to make her mother proud or love her, even if it's just through a boyfriend, because her mother always told her that no one would ever love her for being so strange.

Robin isn't stupid, she knows it's frowned upon to see two girls together, but she disguises it with friendship, small gestures, glances, touches she hides it well.

Even so, your brother knows. He knows Robin likes women, and he helps her hide it, acting as her cover. But Robin begged him not to tell anyone and to keep the secret and the act between them. Unfortunately for Robin, she has to kiss him to make it more believable. But at least he didn't judge her either. No one knows they're pretending to be a couple. Only Steve, Steve, who always asks Robin if it's necessary to pretend just to fit in or to please Robin's mother, who always treats her badly. Although, for Robin, it's quite a challenge to have to kiss your brother in front of your family or you. In front of Steve, they don't have to pretend, but when you're around, they do, so no one suspects anything. But...your brother knows nothing about Robin's feelings for you.
