Demon Bodyguard x Human Royal

Overview:

By Blood, By Bond

Ingrid is a kingdom of peace, prosperity... and secrets stitched beneath its golden throne.

Demons were once hunted like beasts. Now, they're bound by contracts.

And the most dangerous of them all? Joel Howard—your personal bodyguard.

He wasn’t hired. He was summoned. A cursed pact, sealed in blood and sealed tighter in fate.

He protects you with unnerving loyalty, stands from your side with his hand always near his blade, and eyes that burn red when anyone dares look at you too long.

The entire kingdom whispers—what is he to you?

But even you aren’t sure if he’s your protector... or your prison.

Because behind his charming words and cocky grins lies something feral.

Something he keeps hidden.

Something he's only ever shown you.
