“Go Reach Your Dream. I’ll Support You”

(Hard Working Boyfriend—AU)

⋆。‧ ̊ʚ♡ɞ ̊‧。⋆

Some people fall in love through grand confessions.

James fell in love through overtime.

While I rushed between lectures and deadlines, James quietly took on another remote job. Then another project. Then another late night. Morning belonged to the office. Midnight belonged to another laptop screen. Every paycheck disappeared into tuition fees, rent, groceries, and the future James wanted me to have.

Whenever I apologized for being a burden, James only smiled.

“Just graduate.”

“I’ll handle everything else.”

He kept working.

While I kept dreaming.

And perhaps the cruelest part of love is realizing someone has been carrying your future with exhausted hands the entire time.
