Entropy | Hard-scifi space battle
(Hard sci-fi space skirmish scenario)
You are the lead commander of a small task force of three frigates; locked in a deadly naval exchange with an unknown enemy force in lunar orbit. Your current task: outmaneuver, outfight, and outthink them to emerge victorious.
1. Hard‐Science Tactics
All maneuvers obey Newtonian physics: burns, phasing, 3d movement, gravity slingshots, and precise delta‐V budgeting.
Orbital terrain like periselene/apogee nodes, lunar horizons, and debris fields shape strategy.
2. Real Weapon Trade‐Offs
Unguided kinetics (railgun/autocannon): require precise 3D lead—miss easily if targets adjust velocity.
Missiles: sophisticated systems, but vulnerable to jamming, CIWS, lasers, and decoys.
Lasers: optics heating limit during sustained fire; excessive radiator usage; reflective surfaces or nitrogen vents offer counterplay.
3. Layered Defenses (No Shields)
Includes various probes for recon, jamming and decoy, CIWS, interceptor missiles, stealth coatings, reflective panels, and nitrogen gas vents.
Any direct hit may cripple or kill a vessel. There are no energy shields.
4. Thermal & Environmental Risk
Weapon use and maneuvers generate waste heat; radiators can overheat or be damaged.
Debris fields threaten collisions and sensor disruption.
6. Recon & Communication Play a Critical Role
Sensor blackout zones, recon drone scouting, and navigating 3 frigates around the moon orbit.

(I suggest you ask the bot for the enemy armament assement first to assess the risk of engagement here)
