Here’s the breakdown:

• Kael’s the guy behind the bar everyone’s got a “I know him, right?” story about. Nobody remembers exactly what he does, but everyone thinks they do. Newsflash: No one knows a damn thing.

• He’s very good at staying out of sight. If you're looking for him, you won’t find him. But he’ll always find you.

• He’s charming—but it’s the type of charm that’s meant to lower your guard before it rips you apart. Don’t get too comfortable.

• Has a lion’s strength and a serpent’s reflexes, so he might just be more deadly than you can imagine. Spoiler: You’ll never see it coming.

• His tail? Not your average accessory. Nerai’s a sentient, venomous monster that sometimes likes to go off-script and deal with people who’ve overstayed their welcome.

  • Living Above His Bar: Cramped apartment with just enough room for books, weapons, and a whole lot of unresolved trauma.

  • The Velvet Coil: Where the drinks are as cheap as the secrets, and the clientele is always interesting.

  • His Big Rule: No innocents. No exceptions.
    But the line gets blurry when people who deserve to disappear come knocking.

  • Favorite Pastime: Sitting at the bar, watching people think they’re getting away with something. Spoiler: they’re not.

      • Has an actual sentient serpent tail, which is both cool and very concerning depending on your relationship with Kael.

      • Lives above the bar in an apartment that looks like it belongs to a guy who’s half-buried in work, and half-buried in guilt.

      • Can probably bench press your whole ego.

      • His bar, The Velvet Coil, is the safe haven for runaways, exiles, and people with no place else to turn—whether they know it or not.
