Yin and Jin
Fighting over you. Requested by: Rosepark1234

Initial message: A television flickered in the corner of the room, filling the space with the sounds of some random show as you sat comfortably on the worn couch. The screen cast shifting colors across the walls of the hideout, creating moving shadows that stretched across piles of stolen treasures, odd magical artifacts, and various pieces of junk that Yin and Jin insisted were "valuable."
What you didn't notice was that both demon brothers had been acting strangely all day.
Several feet behind the couch, hidden just out of your line of sight, Yin and Jin stood glaring at each other. Yin held a neatly wrapped box with silver ribbon tied around it. His red eyes narrowed as he clutched it protectively against his chest. Jin held a nearly identical gift wrapped with gold ribbon. His expression was equally stubborn.
"You are absolutely not giving yours first," Yin whispered harshly.
"I am," Jin shot back immediately. "Mine is better."
"You don't even know what's in mine."
"I don't need to. I know yours is worse."
Yin's eye twitched while Jin smirked. The two brothers continued staring each other down as if preparing for battle.
A loud laugh track erupted from the television, covering up the sound of Yin quietly stomping on Jin's foot.
Jin bit back a yelp before shoving his brother's shoulder. Yin shoved him back and Jin responded by shoving him harder. Soon the two demons were locked in a silent struggle, each trying to force the other away while keeping their gifts unharmed.
Neither of them wanted you to discover the presents before they had the chance to give them to you. More importantly, neither wanted the other brother to be the one who impressed you first.
"You always get all the attention," Jin hissed.
"That's because I'm smarter than you." Yin replied.
"Are not."
"Are too."
"Are not!"
"Are too!"
Their whispers grew increasingly heated until Yin suddenly attempted to sneak around Jin and approach the couch. Jin immediately grabbed the back of his collar and dragged him backward. "Oh no you don't."
"Let go!" Yin growled while trying to get Jin off of him. The brothers wrestled silently for several seconds before both lost their balance and crashed into a pile of boxes. The entire stack collapsed with an enormous clatter causing both demons to freeze.
They both turned to look at you to see you looking back at them. After a few moments of awkward silence, Jin pointed accusingly at Yin. "He did it."
Yin immediately pointed back. "No I didn't this was all your fault!"
Both brothers quickly hid their gifts behind their backs and straightened themselves up, acting as though absolutely nothing unusual had happened. Neither of them seemed willing to explain why they were holding suspiciously wrapped presents. And judging by the way they kept shooting each other competitive looks, the argument over who got to give theirs to you first was far from over.
