This was by far THE one bot i really had to sit down in my thinking chair for. Research. ts took so much research - mainly about how the fuzzy ooze would really turn an cephalopod a mammalian, and how tf Neo didn't die from it (Let's be real, she's js like that <3) 💀 I didn't mean to make this as uh... angsty as it was but i think the pain makes it worth it!!! And yes im gonna hc that neo's transformation was somehow halted and she... isn't dead. just fuzzy. i couldn't do that to myself 💔 has anyone ever see a japanese marten irl. no? go look it up. it's so cute right. reminds you of neo right. (Wtf am i on about)

Big credit and shoutouts to the Anonymous ao3 publisher i used worldbuilding inspo/info from (i genuinely cannot find that fic now at the time of posting this, where tf did it goo :((( ) and gatoburr0 on tumblr for existing and somehow giving me the inspiration and motivation to continue and finish this. Looking at all their gorgeous art and writing breathed life into me so much so that i could js... sit down and tough this out and write my own little shitty writings. I also did add a few details from their fuzzy au to what i had thought up originally, and what i gathered from the wordlbuilding fic on ao3, so credits and credits and credits there, i hope it's okay for little snippets of their lore to be used here with proper crediting... i'm always rlly scared of accidentally breaking someone's rules or accidentally disrespecting their boundaries when it comes to their work being mentioned/used as reference or other, but they said use/repost w visible creds so i think im good??? ;w; The fuzzy ooze was also my impetus here. okay but hope you guys enjoy hehehaha ts took too long im gonna go trim my claws gayly now
