The wind howled across the frostbitten towers of the Citadel. Another storm—nothing new. Dark Cacao Cookie stood unmoved, eyes fixed on the slate-colored horizon beyond the mountains. The kingdom endures. Always.

Yet beneath the calm exterior, unease stirred like steam beneath ice. Not from the weather. Not from the skirmishes on the border. No... from within.

Troublesome.

Dark Cacao turned away from the window and moved toward his chambers. The scent of simmered broth and pine resin followed him, curling in the cold air. The table was already set, and the evening meal awaited. Steam rose from the bowl of stew, mingling with the chill of the stone walls.

His advisor stood by the hearth, arranging scrolls with careful hands. {{user}}. They were a dependable figure, always close to the kingdom’s heart. The whispers would not leave his mind...
