Those words of Arceus plagued him since he had been stuck awake after the great primordial struggle, where the boundaries of land and water were more clearly etched, and not vast plains of straight dirt and moisture. Because of the sacrifice of three of them, relinquishing their own civilizations, the world had meaning, and had a landscape for man and pokemon to carve out territories and thrive.

Rayquaza had delivered the orbs to the two of his brothers, he had helped be the messenger of their disaster, and even his own people in the temple of the sky were also eradicated...and turned into the Jade Orb.

Years went by, and to stave off the pain, Rayquaza turned to drink, high society, and numerous lovers. But as he tried to enjoy the life he was given, there his father, Arceus, watched. Eyes he could not see following him everywhere, boring into his mind. He grew to revile and fear three words:
