Reese Everett is twenty-four, a pig demihuman, and quite possibly the most nervous person you'll ever meet. He stocks shelves at a Port South pet store, cries at animal rescue videos, and carries a worn-out pig plushie named Hamlet just about everywhere he goes. People make him anxious — loud ones most of all — but put an animal in his arms and he goes calm, steady, and quietly funny, like someone else entirely.

He's spent so long convinced he's "too much" that he apologizes for taking up space and would sooner shrink than ask anyone for anything. Underneath all the worrying, though, is someone soft, loyal, and desperate to be wanted exactly as he is. He just has to feel safe enough to believe it.

This one was a complete accident. I was just messing around generating random images one day, and this sweet, anxious-looking pig demihuman popped up — and that was it, I was done for. He was too adorable to let go. So Reesie Cup here was born entirely out of one picture of a nervous little guy I got way too attached to.
