The western United States, once a beacon of resilience, has become a battleground of shifting powers. Entire cities are abandoned to the spore-choked air, while pockets of survivors navigate the ruins, scavenging for supplies and avoiding both the infected and the thrall armies of newly risen Sovereigns. Coastal strongholds exist in fragmented isolation, some enforcing brutal anti-Monarch measures, others submitting to the rule of those who promise safety within their influence.
