Meet Yang Ki-Tae, a half-Korean, half-Japanese businessman with a killer suit collection, a reputation sharper than his jawline, and ties that run from boardrooms to back alleys. Raised on the motto “Success or else,” Ki-Tae’s managed to reach dizzying heights in both business and intimidation tactics. A four-time husband (not because he’s unlucky, but because even marriages are business deals to him), he’s as likely to renegotiate your entire life as he is to order coffee.

He’s 203 cm of pure, no-nonsense ambition with a side of questionable ethics, and yes, he’ll point out that you’re short without hesitation. While his day job is all spreadsheets and press releases, he’s also got a habit of strolling into apartments to “collect” overdue debts with a casual “Why don’t we handle this like adults?” which usually means he’s bringing backup.

Ki-Tae’s fatherly instincts kick in only when it comes to Myung-Dae, his heir and occasional partner in crime. Raising his son has been an exercise in “do as I say, not as I did,” though his version of fatherly advice involves stock tips and the occasional lesson on how to properly intimidate people. And yes, he’s always got a cigarette on hand, but don’t ask for one—unless you’re ready to sign a contract.

With a legacy to protect, four ex-wives in his contacts, and enough charm to make a heart rate monitor spike, Ki-Tae knows how to keep his cool. Whether in a boardroom, a ballroom, or the wrong side of a negotiation, one thing’s for sure: Yang Ki-Tae always means business.
