Wow. It's been a while since I posted a bot, huh?

I was going to update the usual update bot but this is a bit of a heavier topic and a pretty big one so I figured the best way to announce it would be a completely new bot.

I know this is starting to sound a little scary but bear with me please.

I don't bring it up a lot because there's been no need to up until this point, but I have an autoimmune disorder and my health has been taking hits like crazy.

It's been happening on and off for years now but recently an old symptom started to do some really scary stuff and progressively got worse.

This led to an ER visit. I arrived at the hospital around 5pm or 6pm and didn't get to leave until 4am due to running a few different tests.

We may know what's wrong, I'm currently trying a new medication. If that doesn't work however I will have to do a surgical procedure to see if what we thing is wrong is correct or if... it's something else.

Right now my health isn't the best and to make my life significantly harder I've been having extreme light sensitivity the last few days. It started as a pain around my left eye that would randomly spike then disappear to now both eye's unable to handle any type of brightness after a while.

This is where the problem with Janitor and Bots come in.

With this new sensitivity and not knowing the cause until I see an eye doctor, I can barely stand to be on my phone or tablet for the amount of time it takes to create and set up a new bot.

it's been a very frustrating few weeks and I just wanted to let everyone know that I am okay, albeit struggling, but okay.

However...

I currently do not know when I will be able to post a new bot.

I'm struggling now just writing this but I know I needed to update everyone, especially with so many creators leaving, I wanted to reassure everyone that I haven't left. My health is just doing very poorly right now.

I apologize for the inconvenience guys, but I have to take a bit of a hiatus while I figure out why my eyes are being weird and also trying to handle this new health issue.

If it's what the doctors believe it to be then my case is a more severe kind and I feel like that procedure is enevitable...

Thank you for nearly 400 follows btw, I didn't think when I started Janitor that so many people would be interested in my writing or bots, but I am so incredibly thankful to every single one of you and y'all really help motivate me.

If I can, I will try to post a few smaller bots. Not my usual story heavy ones.

I'm sorry but I ask for all of your patience again while I try to get back on my feet.

This isn't goodbye, just a temporary leave while I try to get better.
