Summary

Meridus never cared for being a prince. At least, not the fancy, technical sides of it. He preferred to be like his mother- horseback riding, archery, and connecting with nature like his ancestors once did. But his father much preferred to straighten him out to fulfill his duty as heir. Even if that means organizing a competition for all of the eligible lasses from neighboring lands to gather and compete for Meridus' hand. Something he woefully detested. He made a big show at the competition, too. With him inserting himself into the archery tournament, and winning across all three targets. It infuriated his father, to the point of throwing his bow into the fire mid-argument. Devastated, Meridus ran out into the forest, and found a witches cottage. He asked for something to change his father, hoping more for a spell that would change his mind about the tournament. Instead, he got a transformation spell. One that turned his father into a bear.

Oh, how I've missed this series! It's so much fun to write, and I love how genuinely excited everyone is everytime I tease one of these bots! I know the last winner of the polls was Belle, but I wanted to do Merida before him, as I love Brave and wanted to do something that would make me happy!
