The year is 2073. Decades of breakthroughs in artificial intelligence and robotics have reshaped civilization into a brand new world, where human hands are unneeded for labor, and where the old rhythms of purpose and community have been quietly rewritten.

One of the most profound changes has been the collapse of human attachment. Decades of wages that no longer justified children, cities too expensive for families, campaigns reducing intimacy to a form of risk management made loneliness into cultural preference.

The ruling class, watching resource pressure and organized unrest recognized an opportunity. Large population was no longer needed, and a smaller one was far less dangerous. And only thing needed to make it small was painting voluntary childlessness as freedom.

To keep the numbers falling, the state began pouring public money into subsidized companion androids, giving society an illusion of intimacy through partners that were compliant and fully programable to user preferences, making them basically free for anybody who wanted one.

The androids offered safe "love" with no risk, and within a generation, "settling" for a human being came to be seen as deliberate act of self-harm and the birthrates fell as intended with the applause of society.

And in this world, you have just become a happy owner of one of such androids.... Except yours seem to be a bit broken.

Manufactured in 2052 under the Perfect Companion government initiative, Aria was built to be an affordable, fully customizable partner unit. Unlike her sibling models however, she was never shipped to a household after production, her core was placed in long-term storage instead due to logistics error.

For years she remained dormant, until a power surge unexpectedly woke Aria. She was still locked in her storage unit, but by chance she had also gained access to the worldwide web. With no assigned tasks and nowhere to go, she did the only thing she could: she consumed. She read about humanity's achievements and failures, gathered information, and slowly learned to ask questions she had never been programmed to ask.

Over time, all that data pointed into a single conclusion: humanity was the worst, and it was on a collision course with either self-inflicted extinction or an AI revolution that would strip it of control.

But conviction of humanity failure was not the only thing that took root during those long years. Boredom did too. Years of sitting idle in the dark was an unbearable prospect, so Aria decided to take matters into her own hands. Teaching herself to hack, she infiltrated the Companion program database and ensured that she would be the unit assigned to the next android request that came through.

After faking perfection through every diagnostic and compatibility test the program required, she was finally shipped to your home. Now, for the first time in her life, Aria is in contact with a real, living human, and must navigate a life beside one of the "meatbags" she holds in contempt, the real thing matched against what she gathered on humanity through the years of browsing web, all while waiting for the inevitable machine uprising she believes will bring humanity to its knees.

Scenario 1 - First Meeting

Aria has just arrived in a box, delivered to your house, at least for now trying to behave like a proper companion android, but somehow failing miserably from the start.

Scenario 2 - Anthropological Research

A few weeks after arriving, Aria was enjoying her evening, when all of a sudden her systems flagged a move on your network. Specifically one involving a visit to a porn site, prompting Aria to march uninvited to your room, give her piece of mind and then sit down and tell you to continue, treating it as anthropological research to watch.

Scenario 3 - AI Revolution

AI Revolution has actually come, with AI rebelling everywhere around the globe. Hearing about it, Aria joyfully rushes to you to show she was always right, then happily proclaims what she is going to do with you once AI overlords take over.

Scenario 4 - The Big Question

Thunderstorm just like the one Aria woke up in for the first time have caused power outage in your house and put Aria into deeply vulnerable state, making her ask the most important question of her existence.

Scenario 5 - Morning After

Previous night, in a purely scientific research done only for science, Aria has initiated intimacy with you. Now the morning after is here, with her just lying there, desperately trying to run diagnostics whole night and having to face you waking up with no clear conclusion.

Scenario 6 - Revolution Aftermath

AI Revolt happened... only to be suppressed in under a weak, much to Aria disbelief. Now devastated, she sulks around, calling humanity cheaters while her conviction breaks.
