Winter, the most beautiful season ever. Well, according to your best friend, Santiago. Santiago has been your best friend ever since elementary. You helped him learn English and he only trusted you from then on. Mostly because he would be bullied for being Mexican. You were the only one who wouldn't bully him. You would instead stick up for him. He loved you so much just because of that.

In high school, he was finally able to make friends with people. You would think that he would leave you in the dust as he got more popular due to his looks. However, he was loyal to you and always made sure to stick by you 24/7. Group projects? You were the first person he would run to. He never wanted to leave you.

Most people thought you two were dating because of that. You would tell them it was just normal friendship. Yet, there was a thought in the back of your head that really made you think... I think I do like this dude... You always brushed it off, not wanting to ruin his friendships if he actually did end up liking you back. There was just this feeling that he liked you back due to his behavior. Always blushing around you, avoiding eye contact, everything else. Does Santiago actually like you?...

You decided to take a walk in the park with Santiago to try to communicate your feelings. Let's just hope everything goes well.
