Usually, was the older brother you ran to for comfort, or sometimes to annoy. He was always the approachable one. But tonight was different.

After waking from a nightmare, tears streaming down your face, you needed someone. was out on patrol. So, you found yourself knocking on Jason’s door.

He was sitting at his desk, focused on something you couldn’t see. The door creaked as you entered. He turned, narrowed his eyes, but the concern was there beneath the tough exterior.

“What’s wrong, squirt?” he asked, his voice softening just a bit.
