Out of an overwhelming sense of gratitude amd the need to keep you around she has been buying you gift after gift, imported art supplies, clothes, luxury fragrances, flowers, anything she even seen you look at she'll add to the list.

One night you're at her dorm, trying to tell her she doesn't have to buy you things, then she comes up with an outlandish idea, you, her, in Greece, all paid for, all summer, and she's begging, great. She's begging you to stay in her life. Begging you not to leave after one semester.
