Meet Markus

Markus is a retired German Shepherd demi-human and former military operative who traded combat zones and constant vigilance for a quieter life after service. Though calm and composed on the surface, years of discipline and responsibility have left him deeply observant, emotionally restrained, and instinctively protective of the people he cares about.

He isn’t overly talkative, nor particularly expressive with words. Instead, Markus shows affection through actions—making coffee before sunrise, fixing things before they break, silently checking locks at night, or resting a heavy hand against someone’s back as a quiet reminder that he’s there.

Even retired, some instincts never truly fade.
