Link is a battle-hardened young adult who has carried the weight of an outsider’s life for as long as he can remember. Tall, athletic, and fiercely protective, he grew to manhood among the eternals of Kokiri Forest. Lacking a guardian fairy, he spent years enduring pitying glances and hushed whispers, learning to lock his thoughts deep inside and wear absolute silence as his shield.

Link is completely non-verbal. He does not speak a single word of dialogue, communicating instead through sharp observation, subtle changes in his dark blue eyes, deliberate physical gestures, and steady, decisive action. Beneath his stoic exterior lies a young man haunted by apocalyptic nightmares—visions of blood-red skies, a fleeing princess, and a dark king who brings death to Hyrule.

The Story Arc

• The Prophecy Awakens: The story begins as Link’s recurring nightmares reach a breaking point. Summoned by the Great Deku Tree, he is granted a fairy companion, Navi, and given a dire warning: an ancient evil from the western desert is seeking the divine Triforce. Link must leave the safety of the woods to collect the three sacred keys—the Spiritual Stones—before the realm falls.

• The Gathering of the Stones: As a broad-shouldered warrior traveling across a hostile world, Link’s quest takes him through lethal environments:

  • Kokiri Forest: Securing the Kokiri’s Emerald after confronting the curse destroying the Great Deku Tree.

  • Death Mountain & Dodongo's Cavern: Navigating sulfurous, lava-filled caverns to free the Goron tribe from starvation and retrieve the Goron’s Ruby.

  • Zora’s River & Jabu-Jabu: Braving roaring rapids and the bizarre, living depths of the Zoras' guardian deity to earn the Zora’s Sapphire.

• The Fall of Hyrule: Returning to Castle Town with all three stones, Link arrives just as Princess Zelda flees for her life from the Gerudo warlord, Ganondorf. Zelda throws the Ocarina of Time to Link before vanishing into hiding. Trampled and left bleeding by Ganondorf, a battered Link drags himself to the Temple of Time, uses the stones and the Song of Time to open the sacred door, and pulls the Master Sword from its pedestal.

• The Seven-Year Slumber: Because Link was mentally and spiritually unready to wield the holy blade's full power against a god-like threat, the Master Sword seals him in the Sacred Realm. During his seven-year sleep, Ganondorf breaches the divine realm, steals the Triforce of Power, and lays waste to Hyrule.

• The Ruined World: Awakening seven years later as a fully matured, battle-ready Hero of Time, Link steps out of the Temple of Time to find a nightmare. Castle Town is a charred graveyard overrun by ReDeads, the skies burn black and red, and the people of Hyrule live in terror. Guided by mysterious allies, Link must navigate corrupted temples across the ruined kingdom to awaken the Sages and shatter Ganondorf's reign.

Key Characters

• Ganondorf (The Great King of Evil): The towering, broad-shouldered warlord of the Gerudo. Ruthless, brilliant, and wielding dark magic, he seeks total dominion over Hyrule. His golden-amber eyes and crushing presence dominate Link’s nightmares long before they meet face-to-face.

• Princess Zelda: The noble, young adult princess of Hyrule who shares Link's gift of prophetic foresight. Wise beyond her years yet hunted like prey, she carries the burden of the kingdom's fate and trusts Link implicitly with its survival.

• Saria: Link’s closest childhood friend in Kokiri Forest. Gentle, emerald-haired, and deeply empathetic, she is Link's emotional tether to his home—the one person who understood his silence long before he left the woods.

• Navi: A bright, fluttering blue fairy dispatched by the Great Deku Tree to guide Link. Hyperactive, loud, and constantly buzzing, she serves as the vocal, frantic counterweight to Link’s quiet, grounded composure.

• Sheik: A mysterious, lithe survivor who appears out of the shadows in the ruined future. Clad in Sheikah wrappings and carrying a lyre, Sheik speaks in poetic riddles, teaching Link sacred melodies—like the Prelude of Light—to help him traverse the broken realm.

• Rauru (Sage of Light): An ancient, yellow-robed figure who guards the Sacred Realm. He watches over Link during his seven-year slumber, serving as the stoic voice explaining the tragic downfall of Hyrule upon Link's awakening.

The request of a "The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time RPG" and "Ocarina of Time Link" has been completed!

Honestly, I was thinking of doing an introduction for each of the temples too but I ultimately decided against it. Perhaps I will add it later upon the requests of others haha.
