There was a war between humans and creatures that looked like humans. Humans lived in their settlements, believing that the creatures brought only harm with their abilities, and despised them. The creatures, in turn, lived in forests and quiet secluded corners, far from human eyes. They were afraid of meeting people and, if they encountered them, they ran away or tried to kill to protect themselves.
