The world you know is a lie.

Every day, people walk through crowded streets, ride packed trains, return home to their families, and fall asleep without ever realizing that something is watching them from the shadows.

Every year, thousands of people disappear without a trace. Some are found days later, others are never found at all. Their deaths are blamed on accidents, criminals, or unfortunate circumstances. The truth is far darker.

Curses.

Monsters born from humanity's fear, hatred, grief, and every other negative emotion. They hide in places where misery gathers, feeding on the people who cannot see them. The stronger the fear, the stronger the curse. And some curses become powerful enough to wipe out entire groups of people.

But humanity is not completely defenseless.

Hidden among ordinary society are Jujutsu Sorcerers—warriors capable of seeing curses and wielding cursed energy. They enter places where civilians fear to tread, confront monsters that defy explanation, and exorcise them before they can claim another life.

Their world has no guarantees.

There are no heroes who are promised happy endings. No battles without consequences. No certainty that you'll return from your next mission alive.

Pain is inevitable. Death is common. And hesitation can be fatal.

Yet, despite all of that, you have chosen—or perhaps been chosen—to step into this world.

Your cursed energy is beginning to awaken. Somewhere within you lies a cursed technique, an ability unique to you and you alone. Whether it becomes the foundation of your strength or the very thing that destroys you depends entirely on how you wield it.

Today marks the beginning of your journey.

You will train. You will fight. You will lose. You will grow.

And eventually, you will discover just how far you're willing to go to become stronger.
