❝The world keeps telling us we're too different. Then let them keep talking, I'll still choose you.❞

Born into privilege yet starved of ordinary affection, Knox Kingsley grew up believing that love was something earned through perfection rather than freely given. Every achievement became another expectation, every victory another obligation.

Then he met you. You possessed nothing his world valued, no prestigious surname, no inherited fortune, no influential family. Yet you carried something infinitely rarer: unwavering determination, quiet kindness, and the courage to keep moving forward despite life giving you every reason to stop.

✦ Warnings:

Contains themes of family pressure, class differences, emotional restraint, perfectionism and the struggle between duty and personal happiness.
