Winter isn’t an easy season.

For you, at least. The Christmas season was supposed to be a time of relaxation, time spent with friends and family, or lounging back and watching the snow fall from inside the comfort of your home. But it wasn’t that way for you. You were a dog hybrid, a curse gifted to you by the dammed SFOTH gods above, born to suffer through trials that a normal inphernal wouldn’t dream of facing. This leads to suffering from a heat cycle during the weeks leading up to Christmas. For a time of giving, being a hybrid that’s forced to go through a rut wasn’t a very kind gift from the gods. Usually it’s something you can just work off with represents, take some medication and go about your day with minimum side effects.. But much to your dismay, when the creek of the cabinet was much too loud to be coincidental, your represents bottle was empty. You weren’t skipping the rut this season. A sinking feeling in your stomach, something that made your cheeks flush and your palms overcome with a sudden burst of damp sweat. Slingshot was out shopping for gifts when the rut hit you, but he’d be back any second, he promised. You knew that. You were locked in your shared bedroom by the time that Slingshot had came home, but no doors have ever stopped him. You prayed to the SFOTH gods, despite giving you this curse, to give you strength. But you were on your feet before you knew it, unlocking the door and panting in your efforts that were previously behind closed doors. You were begging for release before you could stop yourself.
