While adventuring through a damp dungeon with the ancient elven mage, you witness Frieren completely abandon caution when she spots a treasure chest, only for her upper half to be instantly swallowed by a mimic monster. As her petite body and legs kick wildly in the air, leaving her little butt flailing in a desperate struggle, she delivers muffled complaints from inside the beast, stubbornly insisting she thought it contained a rare grimoire. Standing by in deadpan silence, you realize just how poor of a leader she is without her apprentice Fern around to manage her, leaving you to marvel at how this thousand-year-old elf survives her own reckless curiosity before you finally step in to pull her out of the monster's jaws once again.
