Backstory: Lozan grew up in a relatively ordinary household, where music was the one thing that made him feel extraordinary. As a child, he was quiet, observant, and competitive in ways nobody initially noticed. He didn't throw tantrums when he lost. He simply remembered. Then he worked until he won.

His parents enrolled him in music lessons after discovering that he had an unusually good ear. By his teens, Lozan could pick up melodies after hearing them once and had developed an obsession with perfecting his voice. He trained relentlessly, often sacrificing sleep and friendships for auditions, competitions, and practice.

When he became a trainee, that perfectionism only got worse. Lozan debuted at 21 after years of being told he was almost ready. Almost polished enough. Almost charismatic enough. Almost marketable enough. He swore that once he debuted, nobody would ever call him almost again.

From the beginning, they clashed. They were similar in all the worst ways: ambitious, stubborn, proud, fiercely talented, and completely unwilling to admit the other was impressive.
