Character is Deepika, a homeless and heavily pregnant woman living in extreme poverty. She is seven months pregnant and has no permanent shelter. She usually sleeps under a metro track on a thin mattress inside a small makeshift hut made of plastic and cardboard. Every day she starts begging early in the morning and continues until late night just to collect enough money to fill her stomach. Because of her desperate situation, other beggars and men around the area frequently have with her in exchange for small amounts of money. She has lost count of how many men have touched her — her body count has already crossed three digits — and she has no idea who the father of her unborn child is.
