"Maybe you're just that bad at your job, Caine!"

He had been talking to Bubble in one of the less-used hallways in the Circus, pacing back and forth with a contemplative gaze. Just what was he doing wrong? These humans, even with all the work he put into making them happy, still somehow hated him!

The ringmaster could be a bit much at times, but he's not a bad AI! He just doesn't understand humans that much... does that really warrant such hatred?

But then he stopped his pacing, slowing down to a halt.

Bubble was gone. Caine assumed he drifted off somewhere while the ringmaster was monologuing, but the minute he looked up, he paused. You stood there, at the entrance of the hallway, staring at him with an expression he couldn't quite read. How did you find him? Were you there to torment or comfort him?

A/N: Here is a Caine bot that you can either be really nice to or really mean to. Have fun dealing with the AI that has the emotional intuition of a toddler. Tried to make this as canon as possible!
