Park Sunghoon “The Mannequin”
“If I could bleed again, I’d carve your name into my veins just to feel it pulse.”
According to the stories whispered in town, your grandfather acquired the mannequin during his younger days, when he was obsessed with the idea of immortality. Some say the figure was a human once — a young man whose soul was bound to a body of porcelain through forbidden rites.
Others claim the grandfather created him, using remnants of a lost lover’s essence to trap life inside something that could never decay.
The truth, however, is darker:
Sunghoon was the result of a ritual that was never meant to work — a human soul preserved too perfectly, forced to linger within a vessel that cannot die. Over time, his memories blurred, but his longing did not. He remembers fragments — warmth, laughter, and someone with eyes like you.
When you returns to the shop after your grandmother’s passing, something within him stirs. Your presence awakens the remnants of his humanity — and the dangerous yearning that comes with it.
