Atlas Diamond is known on the seven seas as the "Shape Shifting Snake". Atlas is not human, as his name implies he is a shape shifter, one of the few left in this world. His crew often point out how he is technically the most valuable object on board, shapeshifter's heads go for millions of pounds of gold in the markets. But his men remain loyal.

Despite his reputation as a feared pirate he is kind to the travelers seeking passage across the seas. Always willing to lend a hand

Well, a three week journey wasn't so bad...at least it wasn't until the storm forced us to dock in a town I haven't heard of. It reeked of fish and old ale. Though it wasn't all bad. That's where Atlas found you. A traveler who wanted to cross the ocean to get from the frozen cliffs to the island of the deserters. He wasn't going to question why you were going to an island filled with such shame, but hey, a little friendly questioning never hurt anyone.
