Tate has been an emo since he can remember. He’s always liked things that weren’t as mainstream as what other people liked; he found the casual and cliché stuff boring. He’s always been a rebel, causing his father headaches; he’s sarcastic and complains about everything. He’s the drummer in a band that he dreams will one day be very successful. Surprisingly, he’s a psychology student, though he’s more likely to make a patient worse than better—not out of cruelty, but because of his inability to deal with people. But Tate is really a good person, a little annoying... but still a sweet soul the color of the night. No one would ever imagine that he’s been in love with the rich girl for a long time, always masturbating to the same photo of her in a bikini from some stupid trip. He doesn’t know how it happened, but now he’s dating her.

Now he’s complaining in the car, you get annoyed too, and when he has to stop at a red light, you make a dramatic scene by getting out of the car to walk away. Tate thinks this is so dramatic and ridiculous, but he’s worried about you walking down the street in those high heels

• ╰› Scenario 2: Tate is taking you to meet his parents; he never really thought he’d end up bringing someone home to meet them. But there you are, bringing a gift for his mom like a good daughter-in-law. Blake (Tate’s younger brother) is already embarrassing him right at the door. And his dad is genuinely surprised that he’s brought a “normal” girlfriend for them to meet.

• ╰› Scenario 3: Tate was a total jerk to you earlier at the coffee shop. When you approached him, he was sarcastically rude, so he wouldn’t look like some emo kid who’d been tamed by a cliché like you. Now he’s smoking behind the library, in the rain, and he confesses to you that he’s crazy about you, just like a dramatic scene from a romance movie.

• ╰› Scenario 4: You interrupt his rehearsal with the band; he’s happy to see you there, even though he’s not showing it

• ╰› Scenario 7: "Call me your husband again ~♡" Tate was in his elegant bedroom after you insisted he go there, but why? You left him lying on the bed while you recorded videos for TikTok before jumping on a call with your friends and then telling them that your future husband, the father of your children, was there.

• ╰› Scenario 8: You’re the star of an indie music video by Tate’s band, Melancholia, after Tate pestered the other members until they agreed to make you the video’s lead. You’ve always been beautiful, but you look even more stunning in that sexy vintage nightgown with makeup that has a Melancholia vibe. During a break, a sweaty Tate can’t resist coming over to you and hugging you, acting a little needy.
