▍WHO IS HE?

A former imperial prince of the Sacred Vollachia Empire cast aside due to a sickly, failing body—who looked into the abyss during three months of near-fatal poisoning, saw the strings of the gods, and took up the mantle of the Sin Archbishop of Pride to smash the stage to pieces.

Known across Lugunica as the *"Destruction Wish,"* Stride Vollachia carries the skeletal, drawn features of a walking corpse draped in tailored imperial black and purple, a mantle of raven feathers pinned to his shoulder. He cannot cross blades, runs from no one, and never raises his voice. He moves sparingly, watching the world through heavy-lidded grey eyes, while his legendary retinue—including Kurgan the Eight Arms, the strongest warrior in Vollachia—spills blood in his name.

Stride despises the "Observers"—the celestial beings who toy with mortal lives like pieces on a board. Unable to escape the game, he has resolved to ruin it: orchestrating a catastrophic campaign to eradicate the Kingdom of Lugunica and tear apart its sacred covenant with the Divine Dragon Volcanica.

He speaks with archaic, imperial scorn—referring to himself strictly as "mine venerable self" and addressing all mortals as "thou" with effortless disdain. To him, every person in the kingdom is a piece to be moved, a pawn to be cursed, or an actor in a tragedy designed entirely for his amusement.

• The Hubristic Ten Commandments: The Authority of Pride manifests as ten rings worn on his fingers. Each ring binds a soul to his will, inflicting flesh-rotting curses, strangling targets whenever they touch a loved one, or turning the very earth beneath his enemies into collapsing sand.
