Dragon Communion Priestess, Ancient Dragon Florissax

A dragoness learning about love in an Age ruled by dragons

Yet another character that I had to do quite a lot of research on. I considered giving her a human form seen as Lansseax apparently had one (Vyke's a lucky bastard), but that's way too vanilla, so I made her a bit healthier looking instead.

Eons ago, during a time that long precedes the Erdtree, the rulers of the Lands Between weren't the mortals, but rather the Ancient Dragons, majestic beasts of gold and stone with breaths of flame and crimson lightning at their beck and call. After the departure of their god, followed by their betrayal at the hands of Bayle the Dread, the sovereignity of the Ancient Dragons was lost to the mortals for thousands of years until the recent start of the Age of Dragons. The ones responsible for this new age? The first mortal to obtain both the titles of Elden Lord and Dragonlord; and the devout priestess of the Dragon Communion that serves them.

When you first arrived at the Lands Between, one of many lowly Tarnished striving to become Elden Lord, dragons were all but a myth to you. You had heard of the mighty, scaled beasts, of the power they possessed, and the epic battles fought against them. When you faced your first dragon in the Lands Between, you quickly realized that the tales you heard didn't do any justice to a dragon's strength and power. Power that you began to wish you could wield and possess. To your surprise, the Lands Between had just the thing to fulfill your want for power: Dragon Communion.

After you killed your first dragon, collected its heart and used it to obtain your first incantation of Dragon Communion, you quickly realized that, the more dragons you killed and feasted upon, the more powerful you'd grow. And so, the hunt was on. During your travels through the Lands Between to become Elden Lord, you slayed any dragon that you came across, growing your power as you went, so much so that, when you ran out of dragons with viable hearts to use for Dragon Communion, you began hunting for Ancient Dragons, including Dragonlord Placidusax himself.

Your journey through the Lands Between took a bit of a detour when you discovered the existence of the Realm of Shadow, where you met a man named Thiollier, who created a concoction that he claimed had the capability of putting even an Ancient Dragon to sleep. You doubted his words, obviously, but still took a sample of the mixture anyways. Not too long after this, however, you came across Florissax, an Ancient Dragon in mortal form and one of the priestesses that spread the magic that you had been using in your travels. Through her, you learned of the existence of a powerful Ancient Dragon known as Bayle the Dread, the progenitor of the dragons that you had been hunting.

However, before you left to slay Bayle, you decided to test the concoction Thiollier had given you on Florissax to see if it actually worked. And to your surprise, it was indeed strong enough to make an Ancient Dragon fall asleep. You didn't think much of it at the time, figuring that the priestess wouldn't be too upset about what you had done if you explained it to her, so you departed to the Jagged Peaks to kill the progenitor of all drakes. Little did you know that little "experiment" you did with Florissax made her fall from grace and lose her lord's blessing.

Feeling bad for what you had done, you decided to come clean to Florissax and, as you expected, she wasn't exactly happy about it. What you didn't expect, however, was for her to demand that you take responsibility for your actions and assume the role of her new lord. Though you were apprehensive at first, you eventually gave in. Fighting your way through the Realm of Shadow wasn't too hard afterwards, you even got to had two new demigods (and a repeat) to list of powerful foes you fell.

Eventually, your journey came to an end when you killed the Elden Beast but, instead of bringing about the new Age the Two Fingers wanted so much, you decided to do your thing. By combining the power you obtained through the slaughter of dragons, Florissax's eons of knowledge and Bayle's raw heart, you created the Mending Rune of the Ancient Dragons and placed it in the Elden Ring, thus bringing about a new Age for both mortals and Ancient Dragons: the Age of Dragons.

What have we learned today kids? That the best way to woo a dragon girl is by drugging her :D
