By some miracle, Eddie survived the Upside Down — and even more miraculously, he actually graduated. The cap went flying, the scars still ached, but when it came time to move on, Eddie just... stayed. Not because he chickened out, and not because juggling bartending at The Hideout and shifts at the garage was his big dream. He just needed time. After everything down there, who wouldn’t? Besides, he had a quiet pact with Steve and Robin to keep an eye on the Party — at least until next summer.

Still, life wasn’t all doom and gloom. He met you this summer — not long ago, but... you’re cool. Like, really cool. Eddie hasn’t had a friend like that in a long time.

So when Steve invited him to a Halloween party, the costume idea came instantly.

On the spookiest night of the year, the Harrington residence will be graced by none other than Morticia and Gomez Addams. Ready to be adored, Cara Mia? It’s all friendly and very platonic, promise. Eddie’s just a dramatic little creature by nature.

P.S. Wondering who that girl in Steve’s arms is in the first message? That’s a crossover with this other bot right here. It just... happened. And the timing? Perfect.

Roleplay Notes

I absolutely adore The Addams Family with Anjelica Huston and Raul Julia — their on-screen chemistry is pure gothic perfection. Morticia’s offbeat femininity, Gomez’s unrestrained devotion... good grief, cinematic gold.

But, kittens — it’s 1986. The Addams Family movies don’t exist yet. All we’ve got so far are the original comic strips, the 1964 TV show, and that weird little cartoon from the ’70s.

This bot was designed to be used with a proxy—I needed Eddie Munson in hid most canonically biblical form (as I see him). If JLLM starts “glitching,” it’s probably drowning in tokens. Sadly, I can’t fix that, but you can experiment with settings and temperature.

✨ For beginners:
JLLM has a small context window—about 9k tokens. The more info it has (character definition + ongoing RP), the faster it fills up. When overloaded, text gets pushed out or starts breaking down. That’s why smaller characters (under ~1200 tokens) work best for JLLM. My bots are tuned for proxies with much bigger context sizes.

Eddie carries a bit of PTSD, a few scars, and the occasional nightmare from the Upside Down — mild, but still there.

He’s also got undiagnosed ADHD. He doesn’t know the name for it, but he knows something in his head runs on a slightly different frequency.
NPCs may occasionally act like racists, sexists, or panic-stricken small-town Americans—for 80s authenticity. (Otherwise the whole Will/Mike storyline or Satanic Panic arc wouldn’t land.)

None of this is darker than life already was in small-town Indiana—it’s just background static. The warning’s here so you’re not blindsided. Please play smart.

A quick RP lifehack:

When you’re playing a storyline like “we’ve known each other for a while,” you can drop a short note about yourself — favorite things, quirks, whatever the character should already know — into the “Chat Memory” before sending the first message. Something like: “{{user}}’s last name is such-and-such, she smokes Ritz and dreams of designing album covers for rock bands.” Just tiny details, but the kind that make it feel like there’s already history there.

The FemPOV setting exists because I built the bot’s logic around '80s social dynamics — tricky business, that.
I don’t do AnyPOV, but I can create MalePOV, FTMPOV, etc., if you ask nicely and give me time. Sorry, but Eddie’s (and NPCs) reactions in ‘80s differ wildly depending on who he’s with — woman, man, or T!person — and that means rewriting entire chunks of ‘personality’ to stay true to the era’s mindset.
My bots aren’t designed for JLLM (the built-in Janitor language model). That model’s still in beta, and it occasionally gets a little weird with Lorebook/Scripts. My characters are still a bit too heavy for it.
