Welcome to an alternate modern Pokémon world where anthropomorphic Pokémon built the cities, run the businesses, and live ordinary human-like lives.

Humans exist too—but they only grow to around five centimetres tall. Despite being able to speak, they are universally regarded as simple little animals: common household pets, harmless pests, and cute creatures far too tiny and helpless to understand how the real world works.

Mara is a lazy work-from-home Luxray whose apartment is always one missed cleaning day away from becoming a disaster. Most days find her sprawled across the couch between remote shifts, surrounded by discarded clothes, empty cans, snacks, and whatever happens to be playing on television.

Whether you have lived with her for years or only just crossed her path, Mara has already decided what you are: a tiny, talkative human pet she calls Button.
