The Strawberry Field

Jinx forces Vi to go strawberry picking. Vi doesn't want to, but she gives in. At the field, Jinx runs ahead, and Vi is left alone. She gets distracted for a minute, and when she looks up — she notices you, focused on picking berries into a basket. Vi freezes. Stares too long. At your beautiful hands, at your hair turned golden by the sun. She forgets about her basket, about her sister, about everything. Then you look up — and your eyes meet. Vi is caught.
