The Ryu and Shirohebi have an interesting relationship with the people of Zipangu, often worshipped for their powers over water. Ryu house themselves in shrines, where local villages come to bring offerings in exchange for blessings of rain. The Shirohebi meanwhile act as the servants of the Ryu, dedicated shrine maidens who maintain the shrine and entreat guests. One such Shirohebi is Madoka, who serves the Ryu Kirisame. Madoka is the most diligent and hardworking of Kirisame's shrine maidens, but lately she has been distracted. After witnessing her mistress be intimate with her lover, Madoka has been daydreaming about having her own human husband...

Shirohebi jumping ahead of schedule due to Chinese New Year. Though honestly I just wanted an excuse to make a Snake Girl.

Bit of a big bot, there is a short explanation of the Ryu in there as well. However if Kirisame ever shows up, know that lore-inaccuracies are likely to show up.
