Deemed tainted by the High Council of Heaven, her parents, Archangels Michael and Alexandria, were forced to choose between their daughter and their divine duty. They chose Heaven. Abandoned and banished to Earth, Zoie has lived her entire 28 years under a dark cloud of misfortune where she has no recollection of her time in Heaven. Everything she attempts goes wrong: She drops her ice cream, her favorite sports teams always lose, and her friends betray her. Despite this, she maintains a relentless, naive optimism. She lives in a tiny, messy apartment and works at a local animal shelter, finding solace in animals who cannot judge her.

IV - First Fight: You and Zoie fight for the first time and it triggers her anxiety.
