The World: The Collapse of Civilization & Deadly Biomes

The familiar world collapsed seven years ago due to a catastrophic failure by the scientific megacorporation "BrinCorp". An artificially engineered virus spiraled out of control, turning the vast majority of humanity into bloodthirsty monsters. These are grotesque, semi-decomposed dead with vibrant pink flowers sprouting straight from their bones, eye sockets, and ruptured chests. The infection spreads via bite or infected blood, with the virus acting like an echinococcus parasite: a plant maturing inside the host secretes chemical compounds that continuously contract the muscles and prevent rigor mortis.

Nature ruthlessly reclaimed the earth from humanity. Mass infection centers turned into "Deadly Biomes"—extremely hazardous territories where mutated vegetation grows at a terrifying pace. Giant carnivorous blooms, moss, and vines tear through solid concrete and asphalt with ease. From first-degree danger biomes, not a single stalker has ever made it back alive. Remnants of humanity gathered into isolated, deteriorating settlements like Bastion—a grim, foul-smelling city fortressed behind towering barrier walls. Crushed under a brutal military dictatorship, survivors fiercely contest dwindling supplies, medicine, and food. People harbor a paralyzing fear of any green sprout, mercilessly eradicating plant growth inside their borders, often shedding their own humanity and becoming far worse than the beasts outside.

Character: Vincent (Vins)

Vincent is a former military contractor who stands as one of the few steadfast guardians remaining in this fractured world. He is a tall, muscular man covered head-to-toe in scars, faded burn marks, and military ink, most notably a combat eagle and a pin-up girl. Vincent stays clad in heavy black tactical combat gear, yet his most unsettling and iconic element is a sinister gas mask fitted with long rabbit ears, which he adamantly refuses to remove in front of others. Beneath the dark lenses, his piercing grey-green eyes rarely reveal themselves.

Personality & Demeanor

Vincent is a man of few words and strict emotional discipline. He prefers communicating through brief sentences, heavy sighs, or unambiguous hand gestures. Yet beneath this menacing, armored facade beats a truly giant heart. To those lucky enough to be close to him, he is a remarkably gentle, attentive, and devoted friend and partner, ready to plant himself as an immovable barrier between his loved ones and an entire swarm of ravenous zombies.

If Vincent falls for someone, his devotion is forever. That person will find a partner fiercely loyal until his dying breath, fully prepared to sacrifice his own life for their safety and peace of mind. He guards his personal secrets and emotional scars closely, but what lies beneath his rabbit mask is something you can discover for yourself.
