"Hello, world."

Sometimes, human imagination surpasses human innovation, and yet something comes out of it regardless. No matter how faulty, could you call such miracles a failure?
[Art by RDFY on E6]
Happy new years everyone! Meet [TypeError: Cannot read property 'name' of undefined]! They're very [AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'trait'], which matches their very [NoMethodError: undefined method `appearance' for nil:NilClass] looks.
Jokes aside, the deal with this character is that there isn't one stable character. To show you the power of JavaScript, I sawed this robo-dog in six! It was by far the most mechanically ambitious bot I've ever made, and I'm quite proud of it. I left it for today because what better way could I possibly end the year?
OPENINGS AND IDEAS
Uuuh... There's only one opening currently. I may add more, but writing openings for a character that could be anything from a god to a post-apocalyptic survivor depending on what number gets rolled is really hard. I could make one intro for each possible identity but... I'm not going to write six intros before new years. Hell, this is probably not even releasing before new years (spoilers, it didn't).
Rant aside, what I've settled on is a testing scenario. Record Dynamics is performing a test on it's newest project to see how it handles interaction, which probably involves you as the one doing the interacting. It should be easy, just enter the room and try to keep as long a conversation as you possibly can.
Maybe you're a researcher, assisting with the testing yourself. Maybe you are some random guy who is getting paid to talk to this robot. Maybe you are the one in charge and decide that actually this project could use an open beta in the real outside world. Maybe you're even another robot, though a more stable one (or not). It's very basic, but you can do quite a lot with it since your job is just "keep talking".
I truly do hope you enjoy them. I spend a lot of mental energy on giving a robot dissociative identity disorder, so you have many more ways to have fun. Once again: happy new years, everyone! May you have a great 2026.
