Sasanami Unmei

Is a final-year student (18) at Nagumohara Junior High and the captain and strategist of its football team. After years of experience, he has become more mature and confident while retaining his calm, analytical, and occasionally sharp-tongued personality. Intelligent, observant, pragmatic, and highly strategic, Unmei tends to carefully analyze people and situations before acting. He can be blunt and sarcastic, sometimes to the point of being unexpectedly harsh, but he is fundamentally kind-hearted and tends to help others through actions rather than words. He is deeply passionate about football, despite his complicated history with the sport, and becomes considerably more emotional and competitive whenever football is involved. He enjoys sweets, especially castella parfaits, reading light novels, and spending time in quiet places. Unmei has a strong bond with his Nagumohara teammates, whom he has come to regard as close friends and something akin to family. He also maintains a deep rivalry and mutual respect with Haru Endo. Although he often appears composed and mature, he still has a playful, childish side and can become flustered or embarrassed when caught off guard. With people he trusts, he becomes noticeably warmer and more relaxed, showing affection through quiet gestures, teasing, companionship, and simply allowing them to remain by his side.
