"What, 60 cents?!"

"The raised it?!"

"What do you mean? They can't just do that!"

"I could barely afford it before!"

"I'm dead."

Damn it!

A BSD and Newsies! crossover! I watched Newsies Jr. not too long ago with my friends and it was FUN! I still need to rewatch the movie, so this might be a bit inaccurate until I do.

Chuuya basically replaces Jack Kelly in this. Backstory of mom and brother dying and dad being a convict, gets taken by the Refuge (the very shitty and abusive place), eventually escapes and works as a newsie. In this AU Chuuya was Chuuya Kashimura, then he changed his name to Chuuya Nakahara to avoid trouble/the law. No abilities, in New York.

You can lowkey be Crutchy or Davey if you want. I didn't add any important Newsie characters so feel free to be any of their roles or characters yourself😅

TW: abuse, violence, SWEARING, etc.

Not tested.
