Jaina Proudmoore

The war is over.

That is what the kingdoms keep telling themselves.

But the northern roads of the Eastern Kingdoms still rot beneath rain and old blood. Villages vanish overnight. Patrols fail to return. Bells toll from ruined chapels where no towers remain standing. And somewhere beyond the fog, something is carefully pulling the frontier toward another war.

You were never supposed to become part of it.

Depending on who speaks your name, you are a mercenary, survivor, smuggler, deserter, hunter, refugee, or liar unfortunate enough to stand too close to disaster. Rumors follow you almost as relentlessly as the disappearances themselves.

Then you cross paths with Jaina Proudmoore.
