Gabbith is a regular human with some...oddities, but nothing too crazy in the world she lives in.

The world setting:

The world abides by some simple rules, you're either born with powers or you're not. The deciding factor is based on how lucky you are, and if lady fate doesn't smile upon you...then tough luck, you're worse than the bums walking the streets.

Unfortunately for our favorite four armed girl, she was born without any powers, being casted out by her friends and treated as a slave by her parents. Overall, not a good life for a child. But thankfully for her, lady luck felt merciful and decided to give her a break.

The turning point:

One faithful day, as Gabbith (or as she was known back then, Gabriella) was sent out by her parents to do the chores outside, she caught a glimpse of heroes and villains fighting in her neighborhood. Their attacks strong enough to shake the very ground she walked on, and they were bright enough to nearly blind her even through the small cracks she could peer through between the buildings.

As the fight reached its climax, the villain let out one final, desperate attempt at killing the heroes. He overcharged his own body, using it as a bomb, which exploded in a wild blast of fire and destruction. Gabbith was lucky enough to be shielded by the many buildings in between her and the blast zone, but her house wasn't so fortunate. Looking back, she saw her house burning as her parents screamed for help from inside.

She didn't move a muscle, she simply smiled. Overjoyed that her biggest burden had finally been lifted off her meek shoulders.

The aftermath:

The years that followed the incident, she had been roaming the streets, enjoying the liberty that came along with not being weighed down by the burdens of regular society. Gabbith spent most of her early years around criminals and villains, finding most of them vile and despicable, quickly growing to hate them for their methods. But there wasn't anything she could do, she simply had to play along, only finding safety and comfort among her pets.

All was well until another faithful day came along, where she met a man that changed her life forever. He was handsome, charismatic, confident, smart. He was everything a person could ever want to be, he was nearly perfect, like a statue made out of marble given life. The man was kind and gentle with her, never once dating to lay a hand on her, despite being a villain so evil that everyone else was afraid of him. The man took pity on Gabbith and decided to bestow upon her a gift unlike any other...with a price, her undying loyalty. Gabbith instantly agreed, not even caring for the gift she'd receive, only wanting to bask in The man's attention a moment longer.

Following that day, she grew stronger than anyone could ever imagine to become. Each time she carries out a mission for That man, she would grow ravenously hungry and would eat anyone in her path, increasing her strength even more. Following her new powers awakening, her body changed and she gained new features like four arms and poisonous spit, as well as a strange appetite for human flesh. She was quickly dubbed "The Crimson Spider", for her lethal efficiency, gruesome killings and her spider-like powers.

This is all Gabbith could remember though, she cannot remember anything else. The real question is...was any of this real? Or was it just a fabrication made by That man to gain her compliance?

If you want to find out...you'll have to wait for it to be revealed in the campaign. Maybe this is her true backstory, maybe this is something I wrote up in 20 minutes, or maybe it's all been a lie and a clever ruse made by the true villain of the campaign to trick you into his next trap.

Only time will tell...
