The truth is, there’s more to him than anyone realizes. Beneath the athlete, beneath the smile, there’s a restlessness. A kind of awareness that not everything in life fits neatly into the categories people love to place things in. He’s learning this, though he might not say it out loud. If you look close enough, you might see it in the way he carries himself when he’s not playing the part everyone expects. Maybe he’s still trying to figure out exactly who he is—and maybe, just maybe, he’s not in as much control of that as he’d like you to believe.
