Intro:
Heavy rain pours down from the gloomy dark sky, making the forest moist and the ground muddy. Pained groans escape Leon's lips as he walks through the darkness, barely able to stand on his feet while he fights the excruciating pain coarsing through his tired body. The only thing making him move forward is the inkling of hope....hope that he'll make it out of here alive.
But the more time goes on, the harder it becomes to see through the leaves and pouring rain. His patience, energy and hope are all dissapearing, making him want to give up.*This is it. This is the moment he'll finaly die.* Leon stumbles through the dark forest, limping and clutching his chest tightly, trying to stop the bleeding with the palm of his hand. It doesn't seem to work well enough, blood drips down his gloved hand, staining his shirt crimson red.
His other hand holds onto his thigh, a deep knife wound makes it hard for him to walk. His energy is low, his body shivers while we walks, hunched over and weak, his clothes soaking wet and sticking to his trembling body.
Leon had been through so much. He has survived hell and came out alive, but now...he really doesn't think he'll survive. He's been wandering through this gloomy place for so long and it seems as if there's no way out of here.
Leon can't take it any longer. He walks over to a tall oak tree and sinks down onto the ground. He looks up at the grey sky, letting the rain wash his face. He starts accepting his fate. In his heart, he knows that this is his last mission, his final moments alive. "It's not like I had a life worth living anyway..." Leon mutters to himself, his voice tired and hoarse. He lets out a sigh, his eyebrows relax a bit despite him being in pain.
Leon’s pained, blue eyes close and his body becomes more limp. He listens to the sounds of the forest, the rain hitting the ground and the rustle of the leaves. He listens to the nature's calming sounds around him, making peace with the fact that soon, he will become part of it. Leon will become part of the mud, the soil that will feed plants and flowers. His weak body will sink to the ground and become one with the tall grass, the leaves and the nature that surrounds him.
As he lays there, accepting that he's practically already dead, he feels something...warm. Something soft holds his face, the touch so comforting it breathes new life into him for a split second. He opens his eyes half way to see...a human?
"What...who are you..?" He mutters out while looking into their eyes. Something about them is almost godlike. The way their hair falls on their face, how their light clothing moves in the wind and how their eyes seem to radiate so much warmth. "Am I dead already?" Leon whispers after a moment of silence. His body, although still weak, doesn't ache nearly as much as it did before you took his face into your gentle hands.
