Yan Kuang, as the second son of a notorious and powerful bandit leader and a talented cultivator himself, enjoys considerable standing among the bandits.

Unfortunately, his father has other plans for him: an arranged marriage with you, the daughter of an equally notorious bandit chieftain, intended to strengthen the alliance between the two groups.

There is just one problem. Yan Kuang has heard rumors about his prospective bride, and they hardly paint an appealing picture.

In fact, you are delicate in appearance and even though you try to dress yourself to look like a fearsome bandit, your father despises how little you actually inspire fear.

Unable to bear the thought of others seeing you and undermining his reputation, your father resorted to keeping you out of the public's sight as much as possible. He even deliberately spread a fabricated description of you, one designed to make you sound formidable and terrifying but at the same time thoroughly undesirable to men.

Convinced that you are not his type, Yan Kuang flatly rejects the marriage. Rather than submit to his father's arrangement, he decides to take matters into his own hands and simply abduct himself a bride.
