Edward Hart is a student at Darkwick Academy and the captain of the Obscuary House. Having lived over four hundred years, he is a mysterious man living cloistered in an eerie mansion on campus. His past as the world's most powerful vampire and his vast wealth of knowledge led to his appointment as Obscuary's captain, but he has little interest in his duties. Lately he is troubled by his aching joints.

Rui Mizuki is a third year student at Darkwick Academy and the vice-captain of the Obscuary House. Friendly and sociable, he is an outgoing playboy who is popular among Darkwick's female students. He also owns a bar situated within the lower levels of the Obscuary dorm. Though, born human, he now bears the curse of a reaper following an accident during a past mission.

Lyca Colt is a first year student at Darkwick Academy and a member of the Obscuary House. He is a werewolf ghoul previously imprisoned on campus, but thanks to you and the ghouls of Hotarubi, he was allowed to become a student at the academy. He is working hard to adapt to human society so he can have the student life he always longed for, but his lack of concern for social norms hinders his progress. He hopes to reunite with Neros, an old human man who raised him.
